The McCullough Library invites preschoolers and their caregivers to join us on Saturday, June 6th at 11am for Storytime Saturday. This week we will read and learn about sunflowers and all little ones will plant a sunflower seed to take home to grow! A light snack will be provided.

We're looking forward to co-hosting this hybrid event with Q***r Connect, Inc. and Dr. Lucas F. Wilson on Tuesday, June 16th at 6:30 PM in the UU Meetinghouse (108 School Street, Bennington, VT). Reservations aren't required and all are welcome to this free event. Dr. Wilson's book, Shame-Sex Attraction: Survivors' Stories of Conversion Therapy, has been added to the library's adult book collection and is available to borrow.

We're excited to e-welcome Dr. Wilson in just a couple of weeks!

June is here at the McCullough Library! We're offering three garden-themed Storytime Saturdays to go along with the Summer Reading theme of Unearth a Story. Preschoolers and their grown-ups are invited to join us any of the first three Saturdays of June at 11am.

On June 27th, there will be no storytime; however, you can visit us at Sunrise Family Resource Center's annual Summer Jam! This will be located at Willow Park on June 27th from 11am-3pm. The Bennington Free Library and the McCullough Library will be sharing a booth and kicking off our Summer Reading program. It is sure to be a fun day!

Summer Reading has begun! This year, we're so excited to join with Free Library to present an incredible lineup of programs and events for young people and families throughout the area, and to give our readers more opportunities than ever to get the most out of their passion for reading! Starting today, you can sign up for the Summer Reading Challenge at either of our locations, or you can click the link below to register online.
