EXCITING NEWS! The North Bend Area Community Foundation has received a transformative $1.1 million endowment from the estate of James and Sandra Kruger.

This remarkable gift—made possible through the conclusion of the James and Sandra Kruger Foundation—honors the Kruger family’s lifelong dedication to North Bend and will strengthen our community for generations to come. Their legacy of generosity has touched every corner of our town, and this historic endowment ensures their spirit of giving will continue to shape our future.

We're proud to support a special event that brings our community together to celebrate local history, art, and architecture! With help from a grant from the North Bend Area Community Foundation, St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church is hosting an event this Sunday to showcase its beautiful—and rare—stained glass windows and historic building. This is more than a church tour—it's a chance to appreciate the craftsmanship, legacy, and stories that have shaped our town. All are welcome - check out their post for details!

Join us on Sunday, November 2nd, for Reflections of Glory & Praise, a special event celebrating the art and history of our beautiful church. The day will feature an introductory video, guided tours of the sanctuary led by local docents, and an interdenominational Illumination Service where our beautiful windows will be celebrated through narration, scripture, music, and poetry.
