Our goal is to take a multi-disciplinary approach to athletic injury prevention. We have taken principles proven to reduce occupational injuries, along with research published by credentialed members of the sports medical community, and combined this with the elements of close quarter martial arts that apply to sports. Today’s athletes are using techniques that increase the risk of repetitive stress injuries and impair their athletic performance. Today’s coaches and trainers are using conditioning and training techniques that do the same. ASTI’s techniques address these and other lower body performance issues.
