A huge thank you to Atmosphere Press for their generous donation in support of the Rocket Red Shield Reading Program organized by the Salvation Army and designed to make reading📚 fun and engaging for K-5 students through a variety of activities, interactive challenges, and friendly competition that fosters a love of reading.

Unless young people practice academic skills over the summer, they will lose an average of two months worth of reading skills. Summer learning loss stacks up from year to year, broadening the achievement gap between lower- and higher- income youth. The achievement gap between youth👧 of different socio-economic levels has nothing to do with student motivation or ability. It has everything to do with access to enriching learning experiences.

Your support is helping us put books into the hands of young readers, spark imaginations and build strong💪 foundations for lifelong learners. Together, we are turning every page into a brighter future.

Together with Aloha Construction, Inc., our donation and partnership with World Literacy Foundation, USA Reads, and Willow House, helped children coping with grief and the passing of a loved one. We can all make a difference!
