Really starting to think I should do my own version of celebrity mean tweets, but instead use messages & comments I have received the last few years. 🤔

Imagine if rescues wanted to see allergy tests as proof that you are getting rid of your animal because you are allergic?

Don’t get me wrong-there are legit cases of allergies, of course. I myself am allergic to my cats. But boy oh boy, I bet we would see that excuse dwindle pretty quick. Likely substituted with “moving” I’m sure. Just a thought. (Or a suggestion).

Pic of Baloo for some cuteness-he still needs a home.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out to me in support of the ordeal with the heat stroke piggies. I am thankful to each and every one of you even if I haven’t had the chance to reply to you!

The person who is responsible for their untimely passing finally removed the Craiglist post. (Can’t imagine why.) And that is the last I will speak of them as they do not deserve another thought by myself or any of you. Please don’t let the evil ignorance of someone so worthless take up space in your heart and mind. I have held onto it and now I am letting it go so I can focus on the lives in my care.

Thank you all again. ❤️

This is a post I have been debating about writing but I feel that I need to in the name of transparency. We have been lied to. Well, I was lied to in the worst way and in turn I unknowingly shared that lie with you. Buckle up because this is a doozy. We all remember the 2 heat stroke piggies that were “found in a park in a box” on an 80 degree day-Little Man & the other boy who passed before I could give him a name, right? Quick recap: On May 18th, I received a call from a person who said they had found them in a nasty box in a park and allegedly called the police who could do nothing and then drove to a local Petco where they were given my information. I had been running errands & said I would take them & figure something out even though I had literally no space. The person agreed to “bring them home” until I was available. They got to me an hour later, in the trunk of an suv-in a small plastic carrier- over heated with high temps. The white one panting and letting out yelps, breathing hard and heavy, dying less than an hour later. Little Man’s fever came down but unfortunately, the damage was done and he passed a few days later. Never a follow up from the person. Nothing. Fast forward to this weekend. I was made aware of a Craigslist posting from 4/29. It was the boys. Same area the person said they lived. Same town the Petco is in. That follower e-mailed the person and told them about how whomever they gave the pigs to dumped them in a park and they died and to reach out to me. No reply. I then e-mailed them yesterday asking for more information about the person who adopted them. No reply. Then another follower sent me a different post from a few days before they came to me. My heart sunk when I saw the phone number. Same number as the person who called me and dropped them off. The elaborate sob story was a lie because they were allergic to the hay (allegedly, because let’s be real here). So why the heat stroke and high temps? Were they sitting in the back of that SUV for HOURS while that person spent the morning trying to dump them on anyone who would take them? Did they leave them in the hot car until it was time to bring them to me when I finally returned home? This whole thing has weighed heavily on my soul the past few days. I am turning comments off because I know everyone will be angered and say hateful things about this person. And that is warranted, but I don’t want it displayed here. My heart can’t take it at the moment even if it is in support of those poor boys who died because of a human’s carelessness. I believe in karma. I am truly TRULY sorry for lying to you all. This person put on a great act and I believed every bit of it. I thank you all for the love and kindness you showed the boys. They needed it because they didn’t get it from their “home”.

Please note: I am not as mad about the lying as I am about the fact those pigs suffered. People lie. It is what it is. These boys deserved better.
