Me, walking into an IEP meeting with my notebook, headset, and water bottle…

Client:
“Great! Our translator is here!”

Me (smiling internally 😄):
“Almost… I’m actually your interpreter.”

So what’s the difference?

📄 Translator = Written words
“Can you translate this evaluation, report, brochure, or letter?”

🗣️ Interpreter = Spoken words
“Can you interpret this IEP, 504, conference, mental health session, or live event… in real time… while everyone is talking… sometimes all at once? 😅”

Same mission: breaking language barriers.
Different skill sets. Different modes. Same heart for communication. ❤️
