North Augusta Cultural Arts Council

North Augusta Cultural Arts Council The North Augusta Cultural Arts Council (NACAC) was founded in 1996 to promote the development of arts programs in North Augusta, SC.

We organize or participate in the following events:

1. Music in the Park - a group of 4-8 performances running from May through July. These are held in Maude Edenfield Park adjacent to the Community Center and are free.

2. North Augusta Idol and Art Competition

3. Special Classroom Arts Project Grants - We provide grants to teachers in the area schools to enhance arts programs for North Augusta

students.

4. Fine Arts & Max Gazda Scholarships - Annually award two scholarships to students studying one of the arts in college.

5. Veteran's Day Concert - Organize and Sponsor an annual Veteran’s Day Concert to honor area veterans featuring Savannah River Winds.

6. Support a local Artists Guild

We hope everyone enjoyed tonight's concert featuring The Dusty Angels. Despite a bit of electrical supply problems, which the band handled so well, we were glad to be in the park for this next-to-last concert of the series. See you next week for a tribute to our nation's 250th Anniversary! No fireworks, but some great music.
