Top Dawg Tavern serves up classic American food in a family-friendly, casual environment. We've got the big game on one of our many TVs, have daily features for the whole family, and live music every week. All of this served alongside a full bar with ice cold beer.

A heartfelt thank you to all the generous Hammond’s Ferry homeowners who have already donated to the Hammond’s Ferry Foundation playground project! Your kindness and community spirit are helping us create a safe, fun, and joyful place for our children to play and grow together. Thanks to your support, we’ve reached 12% of our fundraising goal—but we still have a long way to go. Every contribution, large or small, brings us closer to making this dream a reality. Please consider giving today to help build the playground our neighborhood’s kids deserve! We still have high hopes to raise the money by November 20th. The original donation message is below with all of the donation information.

Help Us Build a Safe and Joyful Playground for the Next Generation of Hammond’s Ferry Kids!

We’re thrilled to share that plans are underway for a brand-new playground right here in Hammond’s Ferry—a space where children can laugh, climb, explore, and build memories that will last a lifetime. This playground will be more than just swings and slides; it will be a gathering place for families, friends, and neighbors to connect and grow together.

As many of you know, outdoor play is essential for a child’s health, imagination, and confidence. Unfortunately, our current playground has aged beyond repair—slides and handrails have been removed for safety, and it no longer reflects the vibrant spirit of our community. It’s time to give our children—and our grandchildren—a safe, welcoming place to play close to home.

We may not all have little ones of our own, but every one of us can remember the joy of running across a playground built by the generosity of others. Those moments of freedom, laughter, and adventure helped shape our childhoods. Now, we have the chance to create that same magic for the next generation.

To bring this vision to life, we’re raising funds to cover the remaining costs of playground equipment, installation, and safety features. Our total fundraising goal is approximately $30,000.

We’re also excited to announce a fifth source of funding—we’ve applied for and received a grant to help us reduce our overall costs. However, to secure this grant and demonstrate strong community support, we must receive all tax-deductible donations by November 20th, 2025. The Foundation views the development of community spaces as an extension of its overall mission. Play is both educational and social; it strengthens cultural bonds, fosters creativity, and creates opportunities for families to engage with the environment and each other.

Every donation, large or small, brings us one step closer to hearing the sound of children’s laughter echoing once again through our neighborhood. Please make donation checks payable to the Hammond’s Ferry Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) organization. All contributions to the Foundation are tax-deductible, and you’ll receive a receipt for your records. If you prefer to donate directly to the Hammond's Ferry HOA, which is not tax-deductible, please make the check payable to Hammond's Ferry HOA. Checks may be mailed to 89 Crystal Lake Drive, North Augusta, SC 29841

Thank you for helping us build something that will bring joy to families for years to come. If you have any questions or would like to learn more, feel free to contact me directly at 561-360-5811 or [email protected]. We have included the Hammond's Ferry Foundation QR code as an attachment to make the donation through Venmo.
