An experience I won’t ever forget, to say the least 🇺🇸

For years, I’ve hoped FTF would have the chance to be in New York City around September 11th, not simply to visit, but to give back and pay respects to first responders who represent the heart of our mission

Being there for the 25th anniversary was incredibly humbling. We had the incredible honor of visiting the exact firehouse (FDNY Ten House) that was the first to respond on 9/11. We were able to pay our respects with a drop-off of sweets from a local bakery, and share the mission of Feeding The Fearless. Standing in a place filled with so much history, courage, sacrifice, and loss left me in awe.

Experiencing it through my goddaughter’s eyes made it even more meaningful. A reminder of how important it is to teach the next generation to always remember, honor, and give back.

Forever grateful for the countless sacrifices that were made. Forever grateful for the endless sacrifices that are continuing to be made. Forever grateful for the opportunity to honor our heroes. We will never forget. 🇺🇸❤️

Sergeant Chris Fisher (Warm Springs Police Department, Georgia) was sitting in his vehicle after finishing a traffic stop. While seated in his vehicle, another vehicle pulled up next to him. The driver of this vehicle began shooting into Sergeant Fisher's patrol vehicle. Sergeant Fisher was discovered deceased. The suspect drove away from the scene but was later discovered with an apparent self-inflicted mortal gunshot wound. Sergeant Fisher had recently arrested the suspect.

Sergeant Fisher served in law enforcement for 7 years. He leaves behind a wife and children.

Georgia Officer Chris Fisher was shot and killed in the line of duty Tuesday night. The suspect wanted in connection with his death was later found dead in Anderson County from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. Link in comments for the latest.
