Did you know that the way you feed a kitten can make a huge difference in their safety? When bottle-feeding, it’s essential to NEVER feed a kitten on their back!

🚫 This common mistake can lead to aspiration pneumonia, where milk can flood the lungs, causing serious health issues.

The RIGHT way to feed your kitten is to place them belly-down, just like their natural nursing position. This allows the milk to flow safely into their stomach instead of into their lungs, keeping them safe and healthy. 🐾
Follow these simple steps to keep your kitten safe and comfortable:

1️⃣ Place your kitten belly-down on a soft towel on your lap.
2️⃣ Support their chest with your palm for stability.
3️⃣ Keep their head level or slightly higher than their body.

Tiny kittens are delicate, so let’s feed them smart and keep them safe! 💖

In Search of a Carpenter / Builder / Contractor

We’re looking for someone who can help us complete the final step of our renovation so we can move our current feral population into their forever building.

What we need:
A custom‑sized door framed and installed.
The door leads to a screened/wired porch, so it needs to be slightly shorter than a standard door. We already have the door, but because of the unique size, it did not come with a frame — which is what we need built and installed.

As a donation‑based 501(c)(3) rescue, our budget is always tight, especially with medical care and daily operations. We’re hoping to find someone who might be willing to help us at a reduced rate… or even donate their time if they’re able. Any support would make a huge difference for the feral kitties waiting to move into their new safe space.
