Celebrating New Beginnings at Shakti Shakha! 🌸✨

We recently gathered for a vibrant and soulful Varsha Pratipada Utsav at our HSS Shakti Shakha in North Attleboro, MA. It was a day filled with tradition, community spirit, and the joy of welcoming the Hindu New Year together!

Highlights of the Celebration:

Cultural Traditions: The event kicked off with the auspicious unfurling of the Bhagwa Dhwaj and traditional prayers.

Energetic Activities: From yoga and Surya Namaskar to fun team games, our Swayamsevaks and Sevikas of all ages participated with incredible enthusiasm! 🏃‍♂️🧘‍♀️

Community & Connection: It was wonderful to see families come together to celebrate our rich heritage and strengthen our bonds.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and made this Utsav so memorable. Here’s to a year of growth, strength, and service! 🙏🚩

We recently hosted a vibrant Haldi Kumkum ceremony at our HSS Shakti Shakha in North Attleboro, MA to mark the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti. It was a wonderful afternoon filled with joy as the women of our community gathered after Shakha to share in this beautiful cultural tradition.

Highlights of the Event:

Traditional Rituals: Sisters applied Haldi (turmeric) and Kumkum (vermilion) to one another, symbolizing friendship and goodwill.

Sweet Moments: The air was filled with the sweetness of Sankranti treats, including traditional Til-Gul.

Gifts & Grins: Everyone went home with small tokens of appreciation and plenty of happy memories.

Stronger Bonds: It was a fantastic opportunity for our Shakha family to connect, share stories, and celebrate our heritage together.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made this celebration so special. Wishing you all a year ahead as bright and warm as the winter sun!
