Thank you to everyone who came out last night to support us at our annual Jim Dandy’s Fundraiser. It was another successful night! Huge shout out to Mayor Daniel H. Pronti - MAYOR, North Arlington, NJ and his council for always showing their support. We are already looking forward to next year!🥎🥎🥎🥎

🥎 League Weekly Recap & Highlights 🥎

Another exciting week of softball is in the books, and our players continue to showcase incredible effort, sportsmanship, and growth across all divisions. As we approach the second half of the season, the competition is only getting better!

🔥 Upper Division

The UCLA Bruins had a perfect week, going 3-0 and improving to 6-0 on the season. The Bruins earned a huge victory Thursday night in a battle of undefeated teams, handing the Florida Gators their first loss of the year. UCLA was also challenged today by a feisty Miami Hurricanes squad loaded with talented young athletes, but once again found a way to come out on top.

A special shoutout also goes to the Rutgers Scarlet Knights, who continue to battle hard every time they take the field. This week, they added another incredible defensive highlight by turning their second triple play of the season—an amazing accomplishment that speaks to their focus, teamwork, and preparation.

With talented teams throughout the division, the second half of the season promises plenty of exciting matchups and memorable moments.

⭐ Middle Division

The Washington Huskies remain atop the standings with a perfect 6-0 record after defeating the Texas Longhorns 11-0 this weekend. The game was highlighted by an outstanding performance from Huskies pitcher Emma P., who threw an immaculate first inning, retiring the side on the minimum number of pitches.

The LSU Tigers and Oregon Ducks also deserve recognition for their impressive play this season. Both teams have put together strong performances, earned quality victories, and continue to improve week after week. Their growth, determination, and team-first attitude have made them exciting teams to watch and a great example of what youth softball is all about.

👏 Finally, a heartfelt thank you to all of our coaches. The time, energy, patience, and commitment you invest in these young athletes does not go unnoticed. Beyond teaching softball skills, you are helping build confidence, character, teamwork, and lifelong memories for every player in our league.

Thank you to our players, coaches, families, volunteers, and fans for making this season so special. We can't wait to see what the next week brings. Come on down to the fields, enjoy the beautiful weather, grab something from the concession stand, and cheer on these amazing young athletes!

Please join us as the league proudly takes part in the town Memorial Day Parade on Monday. We will be lining up about 1pm on Canterbury Ave, the Parade kicks off promptly at 2pm. Wear your uniform shirt and comfy sneakers. Parents are welcome to walk with us as well!! We are looking to get a great turnout so if you're around please join us!!
