Andover's Memorial Day Parade has been cancelled due to the inclement weather. All other observances will go on as scheduled.

Due to forecasted inclement weather, the Town of Andover has announced modifications to its Memorial Day observances scheduled for Monday, May 25.

Ceremonies at local cemeteries will proceed as planned. The ceremony at West Parish Cemetery will take place at 7:00 AM, followed by Saint Augustine Cemetery at 7:30 AM and Spring Grove Cemetery at 8:00 AM.

The Town’s Memorial Day Ceremony will take place at 10:00 AM at WWI Memorial Auditorium.

Due to the forecasted weather, the Memorial Day Parade has been cancelled.

The rededication of the Revolutionary War Memorial at Bicentennial Park at 8:30 AM will proceed as planned.

The Town of Andover thanks residents for their understanding and encourages the community to join in honoring the men and women who gave their lives in service to the United States.

Congratulations to Anne Muller of Andover who was honored with an Appreciation Pin at the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts Volunteer and Donor Recognition Celebration on Saturday. The Girl Scouts of the USA Appreciation Pin recognizes outstanding service in support of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. Anne is pictured with Monica Roberts, CEO of Girl Scouts of Eastern MA; her daughter, Langley; and Deb Taft, Board Chair and President of Girl Scouts of Eastern MA.

Thank you to volunteers from the Andover Pollinator Pathway group for leading 2 workshops for Girl Scouts last week. Over 50 Andover Girl Scouts from 6 troops learned about the importance of pollinators and native plants. Then each Girl Scout potted a Sweet Goldenrod plant to take home for their own yard. There should be many more native plants for the pollinators to visit later this summer! 🐝🦋🦇
