GAME ON!!
150 girls and women from across the city came together for Championing Her Game(CHS) to celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day — and what a day it was! Everyone had an absolute blast!!
The day kicked off with a Lawrence Pop Warner Cheer that set the tone for the day! An All-Star Panel followed — six inspiring women — shared how sport shaped who they are, how it continues to impact their lives, and how it drives them today. After that, it was time to MOVE!.
Four sport sampling stations:
🏀 Basketball
⚽ Soccer
🎾 Tennis
🏐 Volleyball
Music by DJ Juan Lopez kept the energy high, prizes were flowing, and the gym was full of confidence, laughter, and ton of fun!!
The event closed with reflection — and the girls spoke about the power of sport in their lives. It was engaging. Moving. Empowering. Exactly what this day is meant to be❤️
