Today concluded the 17th annual LEAD Academy program at MCLA ! It was 5 days of growth, service, and community building with this awesome group of LEAD students and LEAD-ers!

Together they rolled up their sleeves and volunteered at Louison House (both the Adams and North Adams locations), Berkshire Food Project, Growing Healthy Garden Program, The North Adams Community Dog Park, and a mobile trash clean-up crew. We can't wait to see what they tackle in the future!

Now onward to a fantastic Fall 2021 semester!

The LEAD Academy team had their first meeting last night to begin planning this year's program. This will be the 17th year that LEAD Academy is offered at MCLA and we are excited and eager to see the impact and legacy of the program grow!

There's just one week left to apply to the MCLA LEAD Academy which runs from July 27-31st.

This 5-day overnight program is a great start for any student who either wants to hit the ground running at MCLA or are a little nervous and want to get a better idea of what to expect before September! Great workshops presented by student leaders, a meal with the mayor, a private tour of Mass MoCA from a LEAD Alum, meetings with faculty, and much, much more!

Oh, and this program is completely free!
