Our special lil Lady Fluffernutter was featured on NBC Clear The Shelters “Long Time Sweeties” clip!! She has been doing amazing with her Foster Mom, even climbing into bed with her for heard rubs and snuggles!! She’s a whole new kitty!! 😻😻

With the annual Clear the Shelters event taking place this weekend. NBC10’s Sheila Watko shines a light on cats and dogs in the Philadelphia area who are looking for forever homes.

Hello. Im Miss Fluffernutter. Im searching for a kind, patient person to give me a chance. I am a striking beauty but im very shy until i feel safe. Once I come out of hiding though I am a sweet and gentle little lady with very good manners. I never jump on things without an invitation and I would never dream of scratching up your carpets, I even play gently! I love chin scratches, laying in pools of sunshine, and being brushed. I also am know to make a scrunchy face when I eat treats, and do a biiiig stretch when I get belly rubs. Don’t give up on me. Even a shy kitty deserves love.

Hi I’m Seline, but my friends call me Sully. I’m an 11 year old certified chonky boy looking for a forever home to live out my golden years. But don’t go thinking I’m some boring old timer! I love running and hunting after wand toys and rolling around too. Even though sometimes I get stuck on my back like a flipped over turtle, which I secretly love. One of my other favorite past times is showing off my unique purr as I rub up against your legs or as you scratch my back. In fact, you’ll always feel how much I love you cause I’ll greet you every morning before breakfast Im generally a pretty confident guy who loves a snack and a sun puddle. I also play well with other cats. Some would call me the whole package. So come on. Don’t let me live out my best years without someone to love.

After a day of observing and scrubbing staff has decided it would be best to close for this weekend. Any appointments that were scheduled already are still able to come but socializing and visitation will be temporarily canceled until Wednesday 7/22. Staff will continue to scrub the cooties from the walls! We hope you understand and we are sorry for any inconvenience. If you have any questions, concerns, or inquiries please email us at [email protected] please note that the kitties are still getting lots of love while being treated. The kitties are dealing with something very common which can spread quickly if not properly contained.

As you may have already read in our most recent post about needing litter, we have quite a few sick kitties. We thank everyone who has donated and it will greatly help us. Due to the unforeseen spread more kitties are sick. Because of this we will be closing tomorrow 7/17/26 for any visitations and volunteer socializing. We are sorry for the inconvenience and we will make another post by tomorrow evening in regard to weekend visitation and other future visitation hours.
