Norridgewock public town roads will open to ATVs as ATV Access Routes on Friday morning, May 15, 2026. This means NOT ALL roads in Norridgewock are open.
If you live on a shared private road or a right of way, the polite thing to do is ask permission of all involved before you ride on land you don't own.

The Norridgewock Selectboard is following Maine DOT recommendations about ATVs on Routes 2, 8, and 201A. Please abide by the BEGIN ACCESS ROUTE and END ACCESS ROUTE signs.

When snowmobiling on a multi-use trail, like the Kennebec Valley Trail (KVT), you are supposed to yield to cross country skiers and dog sleds. Thank you for doing your part to keep ALL winter recreation safe and enjoyable.
