Today we remember D‑Day — June 6, 1944 — a day that changed the course of history and the lives of millions forever.
We honor the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering determination of the Allied soldiers who stormed the beaches of Normandy, knowing the risks yet choosing to fight for freedom. Many never made it home, and their bravery continues to echo through generations.
Because of them, tyranny was pushed back and hope was restored. Their legacy reminds us that freedom is never free — it is earned and protected by ordinary people doing extraordinary things.
On this day, may we pause, reflect, and express our deepest gratitude to those who served, those who sacrificed, and those who continue to defend the ideals of liberty and peace.
We remember. We honor. We will never forget.
