We’ve teamed up with Clips to bring free haircuts to our shelter guests and the community! Join us for our first monthly Haircuts for Hope event on Wednesday, August 26, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 312 E. Hayes.

A fresh haircut can make a world of difference, and we’re excited to help our neighbors look and feel their best! 😊

Susan recently moved from our Norman shelter into a home of her own! 🔑✨ She shared, "This is the second time The Salvation Army has saved my life."

We're so proud of her hard work and determination. Thanks to generous local donors, we were able to provide food and household essentials to help her get started. Susan also plans to stay connected through church as she continues building a strong support system.

🌡☀ No Cool Down in Sight! 🌡☀️

July has been recorded as the hottest month in the US! Here in Oklahoma, we have had multiple 100+ degree days! Last month, we were able to give 34 fans to our friends in need here in Cleveland County!

👉 Due to unforeseen circumstances outside of our control, the Champions of Hope Gala originally scheduled for August 22 has been postponed.

We are deeply grateful for the generous support of our sponsors, donors, and community partners. All sponsorships and donations will be honored when the event is rescheduled.

In the meantime, we invite our community to stand in the gap and help support the critical needs of our Norman programs. Donations can be made at ChampionsofHopeNorman.com. We have exciting projects on the horizon that will make a meaningful impact in our community, and your support will help ensure those plans become a reality.

🚨 Urgent Community Need 🚨

Norman friends, we need your help! One of our refrigerators stopped working last week, and we've been relying on ice chests to keep food cold. Unfortunately, with these summer temperatures, that is no longer a sustainable solution.

In order to safely store and distribute food to those who rely on our pantry, we are in urgent need of another working refrigerator.

If you or someone you know has a refrigerator in good working condition that you would be willing to donate, please give us a call at 405-364-9910.

🥫❤️ Food Pantry & Mobile Outreach Ministry ❤️🥫

Cleveland & McClain Counties, our food pantry is available all day every Wednesday at 1124 N. Porter Ave. in Norman. Please call 405-364-9910 to schedule an appointment.

We also take our mobile pantry into the community on Friday afternoons, providing food, encouragement, prayer, and support to our neighbors experiencing homelessness. Whether someone needs a meal, a listening ear, prayer, or transportation to a shelter when they are ready, we are here to remind them they are valued, not forgotten, and never alone. ❤️
