Sooners Helping Sooners, Inc. SOONERS HELPING SOONERS, INC. JERRY PETTIBONE is the President of SHS. Jerry was the recruiting coordinator for the 1974-75 National Championship teams.

is a 501-3-C non-profit corporation headquartered in the Riverside Building located at 2600 Van Buren, Suite 2600 in Norman, Oklahoma. Jerry played at OU for Bud Wilkinson in the early 60s and coached at OU for 12 years for Jim McKenzie, Chuck Fairbanks, and Barry Switzer. He also was on coaching staffs at SMU, Nebraska and Texas A&M. He was the head football coach at Northern Illinois and Oregon

State for six years each. For over ten years he has run a football evaluation business helping high school football players find colleges where they can compete. Jerry and his wife Susy will be living in Norman. JAY O’NEAL played at OU in the mid 50s on teams that went 31-0 and won two National Championships. He coached at OU for seven years for Bud Wilkinson and Gomer Jones and scouted for the San Diego Chargers of the AFL. He was a volunteer high school coach for 12 years in Colorado where he and his wife Karen live. He will be the Vice-President of SHS. Jay spent many years in the cable television business and operated an internet distribution business. PAM KELLEHER is the executive assistant at SHS. Pam worked at OU for 25 years and retired in 2011. During her tenure at OU, she served as the administrative assistant for Billy Tubbs, Kelvin Sampson, Steve Owens and Joe Castiglione. Pam and her family reside in Norman. SHS, although not affiliated with OU, works closely with the University Career Center and its excellent staff. We stay in touch with the NCAA compliance staff at the Athletic Department. We have a talented and concerned Advisory Board to provide advice and guidance to our efforts. We have made contact with many supportive individuals, companies and corporations that are interested in evaluating these men and women for potential positions within their organizations. We will have a very active website and page in the near future. We have been successful in placing several individuals in well paying jobs. But, we have a big job ahead. We can use all of the help we can get.
