For our August project we collected school supplies and cash to benefit local organizations that work with children. Today, we donated the school supplies to the Center for Children & Families (CCFI) and the $100 cash will benefit the new Shyne Childcare Center, that will "provide quality care for children with and without disabilities in an inclusive environment".

Today we heard from Beth Lewis, a volunteer with South Central CASA of Oklahoma! South Central CASA staff and volunteers have served hundreds of abused and neglected children by offering members of the community opportunities to volunteer or otherwise support the organization.

TERRIFIC KIDS is a KIWANIS sponsored Elementary student recognition program designed to promote POSITIVE ATTITUDES, GOOD CHARACTER and RESPONSIBLE CITIZENSHIP!
The program is unique in that it does not focus on academics!
