FUMHS for Better Mental Health: Accessible Care for Your Community!
💚 The FUMHS for Better Mental Health program, led by Family Uncensored Mental Health Services, is a community-driven grassroots initiative in Oklahoma dedicated to providing affordable and compassionate mental health care to everyone, regardless of their financial situation.
🌟 Core Services: Personalized Therapy at an Affordable Price. The program offers a broad range of therapy services designed to support individuals, couples, and families through the option of support groups, individual, couples, &/or family therapy.
📍The Affordable Difference: Sliding Scale and "Pay It Forward" approach on quality care.
Services are offered on a sliding scale, meaning the cost is determined by your income and current situation, with reduced rates and even free options for those who qualify.
This model is sustained by the "People Helping People" fund: patients who pay full price help fund services for those in need.
Most therapy is provided by master's level interns under the close supervision of an experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), ensuring high-quality, supervised care.
🌿 Innovative and Affordable Medical Ma*****na Treatment
The program offers an optional, unique Medical Ma*****na Treatment Program facilitated through CPKS, LLP Uncensored Family Medicine for mental health patients.
Minimal Cost: Access to quality medical ma*****na medication starts at an unprecedented $0.22 per allotted amount for mental health treatment.
Specialized Formulations: Treatments include Cannachemo (for mood/anxiety), Cannapain (for chronic pain), and Cannabetes (for diabetes-related stress and symptoms), which address both physical and mental well-being.
Expert Oversight: The medicine-making process is overseen by Rodney Bowers, who was trained directly by Rick Simpson in making RSO (Rick Simpson Oil), ensuring precise and effective medication.
🤝Treatment Advocate Support: Guidance Every Step of the Way
For patients who need extra help navigating the process, the program offers Treatment Advocates (staff or volunteers) as allowed by Oklahoma law.
Personalized Assistance: Advocates can help with appointment reminders, technical assistance, and providing guidance through the medical ma*****na application process.
Flexible Involvement: The level of advocate involvement is up to you—from minimal assistance to being fully involved in managing your care logistics.
