Please remember the reason for this holiday weekend. And it's not to BBQ ;). Thank a soldier. We here and all our volunteers would like to send a great big thank you to the military folks in all stages and their families as the families sacrifice is often forgotten. Many of our participants and volunteers are curent or retired members of many branches. THANK YOU!

Folks please be careful this weekend. No matter if it is or flooding rain or realy cold. All these things come with a price. That price is lives!

Please slow down, be helpful to others. Bring all furbabies in. And pray for the homeless people and animals who have no place to go.

Seen accidents already (dry roads) and people complaining they didn't wake up to inches of ice already and schools closed. They closed so no busses would be on possibly icy roads at 4 pm at end of day not due to kids getting to school. And Oklahoma could still unleash ice furry on us so stay safe stay warm and hug you furbabies!

We have a female schnauzer yorki cross, weighing in at 4 lbs, who is 2 yrs old. She was in a very bad situation where she was used for breeding and came to us completely matted down to the skin. We had to have a medical shave down in order to free her from the matts so she could walk properly. She is loving life now and doesn't sit still much now that she has been freed from her matted prison.

Unfortunately due to her neglect she is timid of new people and fearful of most men. She would due best in a quiet home with a couple who was willing to work with her on her trust issues. Not recomended for children. She does well with cats and other dogs of all sizes. She is spayed and has her shots. Can you be her forever loving family? Adoption fee of $100.

Folks it is hot hot here in OK this yr. Please remember your fur baby in all needs. They cool them selves from the bottom up so a wet towel to lay on does more good than one on their coat. They must have fresh cool water at all times. Shade and airflow also if outside. If you can bring them in please do so.

My apologies it has been a wile since our last updates and critter info. I have recieved personal messages asking why. I am not a very public person so I have hesitated to share my personal medical issues.

Due to sudden and mysterious onset of seizures my abilities to train and rescue have been hampered. My P*P has reached the end of abilities to treat and thus to move forward with diagnosis and treatment I find myself in need of funding in order to be able to return to rescuing animals and helping people.
