People treat you the way you teach them to.
Every time you laugh off a rude comment, stay in a one-sided relationship, accept late replies, missed promises, and bare-minimum effort, you’re writing the instruction manual for how others can treat you. You’re not being "nice." You’re setting the price.

"Tolerate less" doesn’t mean become cold. It means stop negotiating with things that hurt your peace. It means the first time someone crosses a line, you name it. The second time, you enforce it.

"What you permit, you promote." If you allow chaos, you’ll get more chaos. If you allow disrespect, you’ll get more disrespect. But if you allow honesty, effort, and kindness, you train people to meet you there too.

And remember: *Your standards = Your treatment.*
Low standards invite low effort. Clear standards attract people who rise to meet them.

You don’t have to yell to have boundaries. You just have to stop explaining them to people who keep breaking them. Walk away from what drains you. Stay where you’re respected.

Protect your energy like it’s expensive. Because it is.
