On June 29, 2014, the ALA Committee on Accreditation voted to grant CONTINUED accreditation to the program leading to the degree of Master of Library and Information Studies at the University of Oklahoma!

The next comprehensive review visit is scheduled for spring 2021

The University of Oklahoma School of Library and Information Studies’ reception (OLA Conference - Ardmore, OK 4/4/2013 @ 5:30p.m.) will honor Dr. Rhonda Taylor on her retirement and will honor our Student Paper Award winner Sarah Denton. We will announce that we have renamed the Student Paper Award to honor Dr. Laverne Carroll and present the Outstanding Alumni award and give a short overview of the Alumni Board activities for the year.
