Aida was a SoBA intern in 2021!

“A fun memory I have from my time as an intern was trying to convince the dev team that our ideas and solutions were feasible for them to implement in 4 months time. One could say our team was quite ambitious!

I am originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina, and I currently work as an Admissions and Recruitment Coordinator for the OU College of Medicine in OKC.

Fun fact about me is that I actually ended up in the hospital and had emergency surgery during my intern semester at I-CCEW.

My walk-up song would be ‘Walk’ by Pantera 💁‍♀️”

Help us congratulate I-CCEW alum Daniel Jackson for being a 2026 winner for NextGen Under 30 Oklahoma! Daniel was a winner under the Non-Profit Organization category for his work with Downtown Tulsa Partnership. Daniel’s work has allowed him to connect with the community in Tulsa’s economic core and strengthen his leadership abilities.

Dalton was a software engineering intern in 2016!

“During my semester, I held the office record for fastest scooter lap and gave the final presentation in a hand cast. The two events were, thankfully, unrelated. I’m based in OKC now and work as a technical project manager and software engineering consultant. For my fun fact, I can microwave minute tacos in just 58 seconds. And my walk up song is ‘Lobster’ by RJ Pasin.”

“I am now a software engineer at Citi in Dallas, Texas. Something fun I remember was playing bubble soccer at the end of the year. My current walk up song is ‘No One Told Us’ by 50 Cent!”

Even was an intern 2011-2013 and a mentor in 2022!

“My most memorable I-CCEW experience was seeing Jeff Moore sing karaoke in Sichuan Province, China when we traveled there with OU Ophthalmology to negotiate with our partners at the Sichuan Provincial People’s Hospital.

I’m now in Chicagoland, where I am a full-scope general dentist who owns my own private practice and teaches at the University of Illinois Chicago. I’m also very active in organized dentistry and advocacy around dental dare delivery models and reimbursement innovation. Prior to becoming a dentist, I was a healthcare economist at a Chicago-based consulting firm.

A fun fact: I love attending opera and fine arts events in the city and scuba diving, including right off the coast of Chicago in Lake Michigan.

Human-centered design is at the heart of how we create value for our clients. Before jumping to solutions, we take the time to understand the people we’re designing for through interviews, primary research, and genuine curiosity.

At our latest seminar, our interns practiced their interview skills and learned how to ask better questions, listen closely, and turn conversations into meaningful insights.

Because the best solutions start with understanding the people behind the problem. 🫶
