Trail to Recovery 5K

This morning, the Trail to Recovery Board had the honor of presenting a check in the amount of $15,000 to The Virtue Center as the beneficiary of the 2026 Trail to Recovery!

The Virtue Center has been doing life-changing work in our community for many years — walking alongside individuals and families impacted by addiction, offering hope, treatment, support, and a path forward. Their mission aligns so beautifully with the heart of Trail to Recovery: celebrating recovery, promoting wellness, and reminding our community that recovery is real.

We are especially grateful to every runner, walker, sponsor, volunteer, vendor, board member, and supporter who helped make this year’s race such a success. Because of you, we were able to make this gift to an organization that makes a difference every single day.

This check is just a small token of appreciation for the tremendous work The Virtue Center does, but it represents something much bigger — a community that believes in recovery, second chances, and hope.

Thank you, The Virtue Center, for all you do. We are grateful to support you and proud to stand beside you! 💙

What a day for the Trail to Recovery 5K! ☀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Over 380 participants joined us this morning at Ruby Grant Park for an unforgettable celebration of recovery, wellness, and community. The smiles, encouragement, laughter, and support seen all across the course made today incredibly special.

Whether you ran, walked, volunteered, sponsored, cheered from the sidelines, or simply came out to support the recovery community — THANK YOU. Because of you, the Trail to Recovery continues to grow into something truly meaningful and impactful.

Today was about far more than miles and finish times. It was about hope. It was about connection. It was about reminding people that recovery is possible and that no one has to walk the journey alone.

We are beyond grateful for this amazing community and proud of what we accomplished together this morning. Recovery wins when communities come together — and today was proof of that. ❤️

May is Treatment Court month! Treatment court month is a nationwide celebration of life-saving treatment courts led by allrise.org. The Cleveland County treatment court is proud to join more than 4000 treatment courts across the country to celebrate leading people out of the justice system and into long-term recovery! Because when one person, one family, one community rises, we All Rise. 

We are the training, membership, and advocacy organization for justice system innovation addressing substance use and mental health disorders.
