Mamas need to train too. I would bet these people knew there was no husband around to cause them trouble.

MOMS-BE. THE. TROUBLE.

Train your kids to protect themselves. Train so you can protect them. Train regularly. Not just one self-defense class. Get in the gym. Eat right. Get to the range. Any mother would fight for their kids, but learn to really fight to help even the odds. Would it have stopped this situation? I don’t know. With training, would it have made it harder for the murders or made enough noise to bring the neighbors? Maybe.

This is unacceptable. It was filmed in broad daylight and boys were encouraging and laughing. You can’t control how other people raise their kids or just evil itself, but you can teach your kids to be able to protect themselves. This girl tried to walk away from the conflict. She should never have turned her back, but that’s not an immediate thought to people who never train. Your kids need to learn to protect themselves-which includes de-escalation, situational awareness, conflict comprehension, along with physical protection tactics. Get your kids, sons AND daughters, training.

Warning: This is detestable.

This is why your daughters need self defense and martial arts training. They can learn to spot predatory behaviors, have confidence in telling an adult, and if those options fail, they have physical skills available.

Two high school girls, brutally strangled and assaulted - one requiring surgery. He gets no jail time while they have to live with that trauma forever. Read it for yourself. This was Oklahoma. Don’t tell me it doesn’t happen here.
