Hello community! We are reaching out because the Pantry has been busy, and demand is high! Right now we have an exceptional need for canned fruit (both larger cans and lunch-sized fruit cups) and canned vegetables (that aren't corn or green beans).

If you have extra in your cupboard or could grab a few on your next shopping trip, our students would be so grateful! Donations can be dropped off inside Normal First United Methodist Church (211 N. School St., Normal, IL) between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm (closed Noon-1:00 pm) Monday – Friday by the main office at Door G, located on the west side of the building.

As always thank you for your help as we continue to fuel the futures of our Bloomington-Normal college and trade school students.

Thank you to the Illinois State students who came to School Street Food Pantry as part of Redbirds Remember, a day of service honoring the 25th anniversary of 9/11.

We are always grateful for our volunteers — including so many from our campuses and community who have continued to show up for the Pantry year after year. This weekend’s volunteers joined that effort, portioning and packing rice that will help stock our pantry shelves in the weeks ahead.
