Acacia is a social fraternity at Illinois State University whose members share an interest in academic excellence, human service, and leadership.

Acacia is a social fraternity here at ISU that currently has 99 members that share a common interest in academic excellence, human service, and leadership. Academic excellence and dedicated scholarship is highly important to us Acacians. Not only do we strive for excellence for our Fraternity, but in the classroom as well. Another cornerstone of our fraternity is service - we make it a point to gi

ve back to the community that has fostered us. After all, "human service" is our motto. Leadership is necessary to be an Acacian. Our members are leaders in their various fields of study and life. "An organization is not necessarily good because it is old, but old because it is good." Over 50,000 men have called Acacia Fraternity home. Built upon these principles, our Fraternity is dedicated to "Preparing Tomorrow's Leaders." With a groundbreaking new membership development initiative, Cornerstones, and innovative leadership programs such as the Acacia Leadership Academy, we are able to provide unique opportunities for college men to become the next generation of leaders throughout the world.

We had an amazing start to our food fight event with We raised $200 dollars today, bringing our total for this event to $450! Thank you to everyone for stopping by!

On December 17, 2023, our brother Alex Nowak suffered a medical emergency while in Chicago. We ask that we come together as greeks, friends, and most importantly humans, to help with donations towards Alex’s gofundme for increasing medical cost. Help us spread our brothers story and send positive messages to Alex’s family and loved ones as they endure this challenging period. Alex’s gofundme will be located in our bio.

Join us in welcoming our recently initiated class, the Psi’s. They also held a service event for where they raised $414 for the club. They participated in the basketball and cheered on the athletes as they played. These men are leaders.

Congrats to Connor Lynch for being November’s brother of the month. Connor is a sophomore studying economics. He recently won Zeta Tau Alpha’s Big Man on Campus! Connor also serves on our philanthropy board and outside the chapter, he is a student ambassador for the economics department. Keep up the honorable work Connor!

Congrats to Satya Garapati for being October’s brother of the month! He is a senior Cybersecurity major with a minor in math. Satya is currently the Risk Manager of Acacia as a part of the Executive Board. Outside of his leadership in Acacia, he is also a Presidential Student Ambassador for Illinois State University. Keep up the great work Satya!

Acacia is a social fraternity here at Illinois State that currently has 79 members that share a common interest in academic excellence, human service, and leadership. Academic excellence and dedicated scholarship is highly important to us Acacians as we strive for a cumulative minimum GPA of 3.0. Another cornerstone of our fraternity is service - we make it a point to give back to the community that has fostered us. After all, "human service" is our motto.

Leadership is necessary to be an Acacian. Our members are leaders in their various fields of study and life. "An organization is not necessarily good because it is old, but old because it is good." We are the third longest standing chapter at ISU. Over 54,000 men have called Acacia Fraternity home. Built upon these principles, our Fraternity is dedicated to "Preparing Tomorrow's Leaders." With a groundbreaking new membership development initiative, Cornerstones, and innovative leadership programs such as the Acacia Leadership Academy, we are able to provide unique opportunities for college men to become the next generation of leaders throughout the world.
