Our 1st Annual IRMCA Mixer Driver Rodeo is in the books!

We’re proud to announce the winners of the inaugural IRMCA Mixer Driver Rodeo, held Saturday, August 2nd at Illinois Central College in East Peoria, IL.

🏆 Congratulations to Richard Knight of Ozinga (Mokena, IL) — crowned the Top Mixer Driver in Illinois!

Our top three finishers were:

· 1st Place: Richard Knight – Ozinga, Mokena, IL

· 2nd Place: Eric Brashaw – Bard Materials, Galena, IL

· 3rd Place: Tom Boylan – Ozinga, Mokena, IL

With the help of our sponsors, we can offset the costs for Richard and Eric to compete in the NRMCA Mixer Championships at ConcreteWorks 2025 in Orlando, FL, this October. THANK YOU SPONSORS!

The day featured 13 drivers from 6 companies competing in a rigorous test of knowledge, safety, and precision driving skills. Participants took on a written exam, completed a detailed pre-trip inspection, and navigated 10 challenging driving and chute operation skills.

A huge thank you to all drivers, sponsors, volunteers, and supporters who made this first-year event a success. We look forward to making this an annual tradition, celebrating the best mixer drivers in Illinois!
