Theatre of Ted Four Square Marathon

Theatre of Ted Four Square Marathon Raising money for student scholarships and for the building fund! The idea was to play for 36 hours straight (or more) as a group, straight through the night.

Started in 2000, the Four Square Marathon was created by students to raise money for the Theatre of Ted Student Scholarship. The current record is 66 hours, set in 2011. The current individual record is 37 hours. So far, the scholarship fund is over $10,400 and if we reach $20,000 this year (2012), the fund will be endowed. A generous donor has agreed to match all donations through April 22 (the e

nd of this year's marathon). You can make a donation online directly at: https://www.illinoisstatealumni.org/ccon/new_gift.do?action=newGift&CCN_FUND_ID=648&SCENARIO=SELECTFUND

This year's marathon starts on Thursday, April 19 at 5 pm and continues until the morning of Sunday, April 22. Saturday, April 21 is going to be a special Four-Square Alumni day with a variety of fun activities and opportunities to re-connect, culminating in an outdoor Theatre of Ted next to the four-square courts! Interested in playing? Come by anytime the marathon is happening. Interested in being awesome? Play Four-Square!
