📣Just TWO Group Walks remain for United We Stride!📣

We had a blast with Athlete Ambassador Kelsey for our first, and we're on the move for the final two. We're hitting Pontiac with AIR - City of Pontiac this Sunday then hosting a joint meetup with Heart of Illinois Special Recreation Association (HISRA) athletes & the RC Athletic Club at RC Outfitters in Peoria next Wednesday!

Updates will also be posted on the UWS Strava group page. Signed up or not, we'd love to have y'all join us to walk some miles and hang out with our athletes. See y'all there! ❤

Mark your calendars and adjust your grocery lists accordingly, because your dinner plans are made for next Tuesday night!😋 We're hosting a dine-to-donate at Chipotle Mexican Grill on College Avenue in Normal where 25% of all sales from 4-8pm will be donated to support our Special Olympics Illinois athletes.

We’re excited to introduce our United We Stride Athlete Ambassador, Kelsey Ferguson from SOAR - Special Opportunities Available in Recreation! 🏃‍♀️

SOILL athlete since: 2023
Sports: Track/Field and Snowshoeing (favorite event – 1500M run)
Fun fact: She enjoys riding her bike to work and was on her high school Cross Country team!
