Since the Illinois State Theatre Outreach Program was first established in 2011, we have helped to educate local and regional audiences by producing cause-themed performances aimed at raising awareness for politically charged issues. Attention SOTD! 📢 on April 14th at 12pm, ISTOP is partnering with Crossroads to host a luncheon with playwright Marty Strenczewilk, winner of the 2023 Diverse Voices Playwrighting Initiative! Strenczewilk will be on campus during the week of April 10–14 to attend rehearsals, visit classes, and interact with students. At this partnered event between ISTOP and Crossroads, eat and chat with the author of Pink Man, being performed on April 14th at 7:30pm in MLB 122.

Please join us for free food and gain an inside perspective on Strenczewilk’s journey as a playwright, Native American representation, and hear about his experiences working in New York theatre as well as in the e-sports and video game industries.

This event will take the place of ISTOP's regularly scheduled meeting on Friday to allow our current members to attend.

We hope to see everyone there!
