We're making great progress with Box Tops and have already earned $346.40 toward our $500 goal! 🎉

⏰ We only have 14 days left to reach our goal!

♻️❤️ Oakdale Panthers Make a Difference! ❤️♻️

Way to go, Oakdale families! Thanks to your kindness, Oakdale Elementary recently donated 18.4 pounds of pop tabs to support the families served by the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Illinois! 🎉

Every little tab adds up to make a big impact, and we're so proud of our Panthers for helping others in our community.

☀️ Don't stop collecting! Keep saving those pop tabs all summer long from soda cans, soup cans, pet food containers, and more. Store them in a bag, at home, and we'll continue collecting when school starts back up in the fall.

🐾 Challenge: Can we beat 18.4 pounds with our next donation?

The Unit 5 Food Pantry will be open on Tuesday, June 9, at Kingsley Junior High School, 303 Kingsley Street in Normal.

Distribution will take place from noon-1:30 pm, and will include bread, fruit, fresh vegetables, meat, pantry staples, and more.

Please park on the south end of the building (furthest from Redbird Arena) and enter through the marked doors.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own bags or containers if possible.

You must be a Unit 5 family to attend.

La Despensa de Alimentos de Unit 5 estará abierta el martes 9 de junio en la Escuela Secundaria Kingsley Junior High School, ubicada en 303 Kingsley Street en Normal.

La distribución se llevará a cabo de 12:00 p.m. a 1:30 p.m. e incluirá pan, fruta, verduras frescas, carne, productos básicos de despensa y más.

Por favor, estacione su vehículo en el lado sur del edificio (el lado más alejado de Redbird Arena) y entre por las puertas señalizadas.

Se recomienda a los participantes que traigan sus propias bolsas o recipientes, si es posible.

Last week we celebrated our amazing Oakdale 5th graders as they end their journey at Oakdale andtake the next step to middle school!
