Hey there, Summer Preview students! We are so excited to have you here at ISU! Be sure to stop by our table at the Redbird Resource Fair on day two of Preview from 8:15-9am in the Prairie Room of the Bone Student Center. Learn more about our office and grab a few dorm essentials for FREE. The items at our table are just a sampling of what we have at the ISU Share Shop.

The Share Shop is located inside the Office of Sustainability at 305 N. School Street and open from 10am-2pm on Tuesdays through Fridays this summer. We've got you covered with gently-used storage bins, shower caddies, bedding, mirrors, pillows, lamps, rugs, Redbird apparel, and SO MUCH MORE!

We’ve stocked the Share Shop with all the dorm essentials for fall semester: mirrors, rugs, bedding, cups, plates, and so much more! Get your room ready the sustainable way, with gently-used items passed along from fellow Redbirds. 🔄

And yep… everything is FREE!

📍The Share Shop is located inside the Office of Sustainability at 305 N. School St.
⏰ Open Tuesday - Friday, 10 am - 2pm from June 2 - July 17.

The video you've been waiting for...check out our haul from Move Out this past spring!

Thanks to all of the students, staff, and volunteers who helped collect and move donations. Everything you see here will be organized, cleaned, and prepared for the ISU Free Cycle this fall, giving them a second life with fellow Redbirds. Some items will also be distributed to incoming students visiting the Share Shop during Summer Preview. Redbirds Reuse!

Pass It On and the ISU Free Cycle made national headlines, and were featured on NPR’s Morning Edition today! Thanks to the talented crew at our local station, WGLT, we were able to share this important work with listeners across the country. Redbirds are leading the way to a more sustainable planet!

As part of NPR's Climate Solutions Week, you'll learn about efforts to make sustainability and recycling easier for college students in Illinois. Because one student’s trash is another’s treasure come the next semester.

Pass It On trucks are out! Donate your gently used items in the trucks outside the residence halls so they can be by incoming Redbirds this fall!

Off campus students can drop off items outside our office at 305 N. School St.

🚨 Hey Redbirds - Don’t let your gently used items go to waste this Move Out season!

Look for the PASS IT ON collection bins in residence hall lobbies or drop donations off at the trucks outside the Redbird-Housing residence halls next week. Small furniture, school supplies, mini fridges, storage containers, bedding, mirrors, lamps, and other usable items will be shared with fellow Redbirds at the ISU Share Shop this summer and at our big Free Cycle event this fall. Off-campus donations are accepted at 305 N. School St., Monday–Friday, 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Move Out season is here, and we need YOUR HELP to keep useful items out of landfill and into the hands of our incoming Redbirds! Join us in volunteering for shifts to collect donations at residence halls across campus and help give these items a second life. ***We are especially in need of volunteers on Friday, May 8th and Saturday, May 9th!
