We want to give a very special thank you to an incredible donor whose generosity is helping make such a difference for our kids and teens.

We have a few students who haven’t been able to attend consistently simply because of where they live and transportation challenges, but thanks to sponsorship support, that is about to change! That means more time in the saddle, more confidence built, more smiles, and more healing moments with our horses.

Every donation, big or small, truly matters. Your support helps cover insurance costs, keeps our horses healthy and feeling their best, and allows us to continue creating a safe place for children and teens to learn, grow, and heal through the love of horses.

Long before we became a nonprofit, this was something I felt deeply called to do in my free time. Seeing others believe in this mission enough to support it is such an incredible blessing.

Thank you for helping us continue to reach more children and give them opportunities they may not otherwise have. The impact goes far beyond horseback riding.

Private lessons or group lessons?!

I truly think both are SO beneficial in different ways!

Private lessons are wonderful for building confidence, working on specific goals, and getting that one-on-one attention. Group lessons on the other hand can be so much fun, help riders learn from watching others, and build confidence riding around other horses and people!

So now I want to know… which do YOU prefer and why?! 👇

Caroline had her very first trail ride on our new girl Scarlett, and I swear it feels like she’s been part of our family forever already.

We have been waiting soooo long for a Scarlett to come into our lives… and she is truly such a gem. Patient, gentle, loves scratches, and immediately approved of the girls’ special heart-shaped “treat bucket” made just for her.

Watching Caroline ride her so confidently today made my mama heart so happy. Sometimes the right horse is worth the wait. Also - only my kid riding in crocs and her unicorn helmet 😂🫢

I know one thing… our pastures are out there drinking this rain like they just crossed the Sahara Desert

The horses are finally acting like civilized citizens again now that it’s not 90+ degrees every day. Everybody at the farm is breathing a sigh of relief humans, horses, grass, probably even the flies

My pastures have NEVER been this crunchy and dry this time of year. This rain showed up right on time!

The put together version, the exhausted mom version, and especially the “looks homeless but somehow horse rich” version

Back in 2021, Romeo was already leaving hoofprints on people’s hearts and making a name for himself. To think that this amazing horse has lived so many chapters before finding his way to us is something I’ll never take for granted.

Every horse has a story. Some loud, some quiet… but all worth honoring. And now Romeo gets to begin his next chapter surrounded by love, purpose, and a family that absolutely adores him.

We are so blessed to be part of his journey and can’t wait to see the lives he touches here. Welcome home, Romeo.

I have never liked the term “own” when referring to animals.

You will never hear me say “I own ___ horses.”
Because to me, animals are not objects, trophies, or pieces of property sitting on a shelf.

They are living, breathing souls with feelings, personalities, fears, trust, and hearts bigger than most humans deserve.

I don’t “own” my horses.
I care for them.
I protect them.
I earn their trust every single day.

At the end of the day, a 1,000+ pound animal chooses whether or not they trust you. That relationship cannot be bought. It is built.

These animals give us their patience, their comfort, their confidence, and sometimes even help heal parts of us nobody else sees. The least we can do is treat them with the respect they deserve.

So no… I don’t “own” horses.
I am simply lucky enough to share part of my life with them.

I wanted a couple of NICE heavy duty benches for the barn and when I asked my Stepdad if he could build them, he wasted absolutely no time. By the next week he had built not one, but TWO beautiful benches by hand!

There is just something special about people who can build things with their own two hands. These benches are sturdy, beautiful, and made with love… and I’ll appreciate them for years to come. 🩵

Getting caught in the rain? Not a problem for this family!!

Watching Cyrus and Cora really start finding their confidence around these horses makes me smile so big!

Priscilla may have taken lessons a loooong time ago, but it all came right back! She’s trotting and cantering like she never stopped!!!
