5 Years ago...precious King's Choir memories from August, 2021...💙💛🩷 God has surely blessed us with many sweet times and treasured friends. Our current Gospel song, "Finish Well" says it best. "There's no truth in saying we've seen our better days. These are the days to be courageous, bold and full of faith. So wherever He may lead us--whatever it may cost. Let the church arise and lift the banner of the Cross! Finish well, everyday that we are given, finish well--for the Glory of His Name. Finish strong until the Savior finally calls us home... Give it everything we have. Finish Well!" Prayerfully, we are looking forward to a new season of ministry, beginning September 3rd -- our 12th season together. 💙 kingschoir.org

What a wonderful Thursday we enjoyed together! ❤️ Our day began at The Vero at Chesapeake, where we had the joy of singing for and with the wonderful residents and staff. It was especially meaningful to spend time with two of our "retired" King's Choir singers, Betty and Marilyn, and our dear friend from Calvary, Linda.🩷

Afterward, many of us gathered at one of our favorite local restaurants, Three Amigos, for a delicious meal filled with laughter, friendship, and sweet fellowship.

We thank God for a busy and blessed summer of ministry and for every opportunity to share the love of Christ through the gift of music.

What a special Thursday it was for the King's Choir of Hampton Roads! ❤️🎶

This morning we had the joy of sharing music and fellowship with the wonderful residents of Marian Manor. From the moment we arrived, we felt so warmly welcomed into their home. A special thank you to Sarahfina, their wonderful Life Enrichment Associate, for her gracious hospitality!

Together, we were a beautiful antiphonal choir as residents and choir members alike lifted their voices together in joyful praise. The truths of the songs we sang and Pastor Mark's devotional encouraged our hearts, and we left with our cups overflowing with joy.

"Speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord." — Ephesians 5:19

Thank you, Marian Manor, for the treasured moments we shared together today. We are already looking forward to our next visit!
