We are honored to announce the 1st Annual Butch Lavigne 6U & 8U Hockey Jamboree!

This past year, our hockey community lost Butch Lavigne, a man who dedicated decades to our players, our rink, and our association. Whether he was coaching, running the Zamboni, or making sure the rink was in tip-top shape, Butch gave his time and heart to making hockey possible for generations of local kids.

On January 30, 2027, we’ll come together at Dominic Zappia (Norfolk) Arena to honor his memory with a day of hockey, friendship, and fun for our youngest players.

We invite our fellow associations to join us in celebrating Butch and everything he meant to our hockey family. Registration details will be available soon—save the date and help us spread the word!

Play for fun. Play for community. Play for Butch. 💚💛

Norfolk-Norwood Minor Hockey registration for our 6U and 8U programs will close on September 6th.

We’re excited about the upcoming season and want to make sure families who are considering joining have a chance to get registered before the deadline.

Both our 6U and 8U groups will receive a minimum of three ice sessions per week, giving our young players plenty of opportunity to develop their skills, build confidence, and have fun on the ice.

Payment plans are available for families who would like to spread out the cost of registration.

Our Learn to Skate (LTS) program will remain open after September 6th for families looking to introduce their kids to skating and hockey.

If you’re planning to join us for 6U or 8U this season, please get registered by September 6th!

We’re looking forward to another great year of Norfolk-Norwood hockey.
