There is always something happening at Next Step To Success.

Some moments are focused on schoolwork and skill-building. Others are spent talking, laughing, forming friendships, and connecting with caring adults. Together, those moments create a place where young people feel supported, encouraged, and ready to grow.

We’re proud to provide a space where youth can learn, belong, and take their next step toward success.

Movement, teamwork, confidence—and plenty of energy!

At Next Step To Success, young people have opportunities to try new activities, challenge themselves, and discover just how capable they are. Whether they are learning a new routine, practicing boxing skills, or encouraging one another, every experience helps build confidence that carries far beyond the gym.

This is what growth looks like: showing up, trying something new, and having a little fun along the way!

💙💛 Once NSTS, Always NSTS

We loved welcoming some familiar faces back to NSTS! Our alumni gathering gave us a chance to catch up, hear what our former youth are doing now, and talk about ways we can keep our alumni connected to NSTS. It was also great to have one of our NSTS parents join the conversation. These connections are exactly what we hope to build on as we grow our alumni community.

And we want to hear from MORE of you!

Are you an NSTS alum—or do you know one? We’re working to reconnect with former NSTS youth, hear where life has taken you, celebrate your accomplishments, and keep you connected to the NSTS community.

💬 Comment below, send us a DM, or tag an NSTS alum who should reconnect with us!

Once an NSTS youth, always part of the NSTS family. 💙💛

Our NSTS youth are taking learning to new heights!

Through our drone program with Okii Dream, students are gaining hands-on experience with drone safety, FAA regulations, flight skills, STEM concepts, and real-world technology applications.

We’re especially proud of our youth who completed The Recreational UAS Safety Test (TRUST) and earned their certificates! Thank you, Okii Dream, for helping our young people explore exciting skills and future career possibilities.

We are excited to announce the launch of our H.E.R. Program at two of our partner schools!

Thanks to the generous support of Women United through United Way of South Hampton Roads, young women are coming together in supportive spaces where they can build confidence, strengthen relationships, make healthy choices, and grow into the leaders they are meant to be.

Our students began their journey with the *Green Choices* curriculum, and their excitement says it all! We are grateful to Women United for investing in these young women and helping NSTS expand opportunities designed especially for them.

This is only the beginning, and we cannot wait to see our H.E.R. participants learn, connect, and thrive!
