The Sarah Michelle Peterson Foundation We provide su***de prevention programs in Hampton Roads. In crisis? Call or text 988. We have virtual and in-person programs customized for any group.

We provide programs and resources for teens and adults that address depression, anxiety and su***de prevention awareness and that inform, educate, and stop the stigma around mental health. Belonging isn't just a feeling. It's something we help create. πŸ’œ

In our schools, workplaces, neighborhoods, and families, we all have opportunities to make people feel welcomed, valued, and connected. And those everyday connections matter for mental health and su***de prevention.

This week, challenge yourself to:
🀝 Invite someone to join you for coffee or a community activity.
πŸ’¬ Reach out to a friend you haven't heard from lately.
🧑 Include someone who may be feeling left out.
πŸ‘‚ Make time for a conversation without distractions.
🌱 Look for ways to volunteer or get involved locally.

You may never know how much a small gesture means to someone else. Strong communities are built through small moments of connection.

Let's keep creating spaces where everyone knows they belong.
