Arts Alliance believes research should help guide public and private investment in arts and culture. We supported the Arts & Culture chapter of the 2026 State of the Region report to provide data and analysis on the role and impact of arts and culture in Hampton Roads and the challenges and opportunities ahead.

Authored by Dr. James V. Koch, Board of Visitors Professor of Economics Emeritus and President Emeritus at Old Dominion University, the chapter is now available to read.
