Hampton Roads Claims Association

The Hampton Roads Claims Association is a professional organization whose membership consists of individuals involved in the insurance industry.

The HRCA is a nonprofit professional and civic organization for those serving in the Insurance Claims Industry. Monthly meetings are held on the second Wednesday of every month. Meetings are held at:
Amber Lantern Restaurant
5532 Bainbridge Point
Chesapeake, VA 23320

Social hour from 5 pm to 6 pm
Dinner and speaker at 6 pm

Volunteer with Us: Assist the Starcher Family

The HRCA received a request from Jo Starcher, the widow of retired HRCA member Sam Starcher and we are honored to step up and assist the family of one of our own!

Jo Starcher spoke with Richard Jamin and shared 50 plus years of time with Sam and looked back on it with a comforting tone in her voice. She is at peace with Sam’s passing. He loved her, he loved his work and specifically, he loved his freedom as an independent adjuster. Sam was 77 years young and will be missed.

Her needs are for help with a few of the bulky items in the house and few in a shed out back. A couple of HRCA members and a van to assist with haul away and disposal is ideal!

The HRCA annual golf tournament would not be possible without the generous sponsors who put in time and money to support our mission of community service and camaraderie across the industry! Sponsors and volunteers came together to treat the golfers to a variety of food, beverages, swag, and prizes!

All funds raised from this tournament support HRCA scholarships and local service organizations such as the Samaritan House and Hope for Life Rescue.

Thank you to our HRCA community for another year of fellowship and golf.
