SNEHA has the pleasure of working with the Vegans and Vegetarians of ODU as well as several other organizations to increase awareness of environmental issues and speak to students about ways in which they can help. It was a beneficial experience for many reasons, including the 12+ contacts for interested parties outside of our program!

Good evening everyone! I sincerely hope your semesters are off to a great start! I want to make you all aware of the upcoming meeting. We will meet on Wednesday the 4th in the Health Sciences Building. More information can be found on our MonarchLink page. I encourage you all to become members officially as that is part of the consideration for our funding. We will be posting all meetings and events on MonarchLink for your information and for tracking. If you have any trouble finding the page, please email me here or respond to the email I will send to the school email accounts. During the first meeting, we will go over the schedule, do some planning, and introduce ourselves. I look forward to seeing you all!
I also want to make you all aware of an upcoming event that is free and beneficial. Take a look and see if you can make it! I hope to see you all soon!

Today we had the opportunity to work with the Student Activities Council for an Earth Day event on campus, and it was amazing! The weather was perfect, and the company was even better. We handed out potted plants, reusable water bottles, cups, pedometers, and more all with our organization or degree programs information on it! 😉 We had a blast informing people of environmentally friendly things they could do and talking about our organization. I feel like it was a very successful event!
