Parent/Guardian Meet & Greets for Director of Student Services finalists
Thursday, April 2nd
FK Library

Dr. Joseph Pumphrey - 6:00-6:30pm
Kara Muirhead - 6:45-7:15pm

After a thorough and thoughtful review, the Search Committee has identified two finalists for the Director of Student Services who will advance to the next phase of the selection process.

As part of our commitment to a collaborative and inclusive process, we invite you to participate in upcoming Meet & Greet sessions with each finalist. These sessions will provide an opportunity for staff and parents/guardians to engage with the candidates, learn more about their experience and vision, and offer valuable feedback.

Your input is an important part of this process. Feedback collected during the Meet & Greets will be shared with the Superintendent to help inform her final interviews and ultimate selection.

The MDSC and the Insurance Resource Center for Autism and Behavioral Health are offering a brand-new webinar breaking down Massachusetts’ historic new ABA for Down syndrome law.
Starting January 2026, in-home ABA services will finally be covered for children with a single diagnosis of Down syndrome through fully funded insurance plans and MassHealth (to age 21). This is a major step forward for access, support, and equity. Come learn what the law means for your family, how ABA can help build important skills, and how to navigate insurance and provider options.
