Father we pray for each and every Dad today.
Help us treat our families the way you treat us. Help us accept and value the uniqueness of our kids and our wives, not trying to force them into our mold. Forgive us when we do.
Help us build up our kids by believing in them and trusting them with responsibility instead of criticizing or comparing. When we need to correct them, guard our words and keep us from anger. Help us to forgive quickly and never give up on our kids or our marriages. Thank you for loving us unconditionally and forgiving our mistakes. Help us to show that same grace, especially at home.
Father, raise up a generation of courageous, godly dads who are fully yours. May we be examples of what it means to follow you—in
our homes and to the world.
IJMNA.
