Alright Guys, the Lil’ Chefs have been killing it and then we were told to slow down….I guess!

We're The CROP Foundation, a group of young, passionate individuals who are all about the world of culinary, hospitality, and environmental practices. On September 10th, our world was turned upside down when someone took off with about $8,000 worth of culinary equipment that we depend on every day and our CHEFS cooking shoes!!!This equipment is more than everyday tools; it's the heart of what we do, supporting our passionate students on their culinary journeys.

Since that unfortunate day, we've been working our tails off to keep things going. But here's the truth: it hasn't been the same! Our productivity, our mission to foster a sustainable community of young, innovative culinary students – it's all been affected 😞 We work tirelessly to support our volunteers financially, but it is difficult as a non-profit to continue replacing the missing equipment while simultaneously supporting our students as much as we can!

We're reaching out to you because we need your help. Our goal is simple: we want to replace what was stolen, get our organization back to supporting our students, and have Yorkies up and running! With your support, we can continue to make a positive impact. Please join us on this journey to recover and rebuild alongside a dedicated group of kids who are passionate about culinary, hospitality, and environmental practices.

Introducing the chefs that will be featured at our Taste of Virginia Event held during the State Fair!

Chef Kip Poole participant in Guy's Grocery Games and the HBO series The Big Brunch is the Founder and Executive Director of The CROP Foundation established to create opportunities for students studying in the culinary field as well as agriculture and other closely related industries. The organization provides scholarships and information on internships with both local and global chefs, restaurateurs, farmers, and others in the culinary community. Established in 2014, CROP Foundation is devoted to innovative and avid young students who study culinary, agriculture and closely related fields. Their endeavor is to build a sustainable community of young students that are knowledgeable and confident in their career paths and will be lifelong learners of excellence in gastronomy. They are dedicated to helping students further their education by offering scholarships and identify internships with local and global chefs, farmers, restaurateurs and other members of the culinary community.

We have some exciting things to announce really soon but before we do, we need your help!

It’s Giving Tuesday and our friends at SeedMoney are giving out and an additional grant to help us GROW. Every donation we receive moves us one step closer and positions us to receive a challenge grant. We’ll be using proceeds to build more community gardens and to offer cooking classes to teach how to use these fresh healthy ingredients.
