Social Science Research Center at Old Dominion University The Social Science Research Center is located on the campus of Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. The SSRC has been in operation since 1998.

Old Dominion University released the findings of its annual Life in Hampton Roads survey Monday. 71.2 percent of people surveyed rated quality of life as 'excellent' or 'good'.
