As students head back to class today, we're reflecting on Norfolk’s People First program and its commitment to ensuring our youth remain actively engaged in high‑quality, meaningful programs over the summer and throughout the year. 💙✨

Teens With a Purpose welcomed more than 90 Norfolk middle and high school students to the Together We Bloom Summer Camp — a space designed to help young people build confidence, discover their strengths and stay connected to positive opportunities. 🌼📚

Through youth‑centered experiences, mentorship and creative exploration, participants strengthened leadership skills, formed supportive relationships and gained tools to help shape their futures. One camper shared, “At first I didn’t think I had a purpose, but this experience showed me I am a Teen with a Purpose.”

People First and our community partners remain dedicated to investing in programs that keep youth safe, supported, inspired and thriving. 🌟

Years of listening, collaboration and creativity have reached an exciting milestone!

The artwork for the St. Paul's Cultural Trail has officially been approved, bringing the community one step closer to seeing these inspiring installations become reality.

Each piece reflects stories, memories and ideas shared by former Tidewater Gardens and Kindred residents, preserving the neighborhood's rich history while celebrating its future.

With artwork now approved, the project moves into engineering, fabrication and installation. Soon, visitors and residents alike will experience a trail that honors the people whose stories built this community.

Norfolk earned the 2026 All‑America City Award and our residents helped tell the story that won it. 🌟

Their participation in Denver highlighted the intentional work happening across St. Paul's Area through three of the City’s interconnected programs: People First, Community First and Neighborcare.

Resident leadership, family empowerment and community drive change. Now, we’re inviting more leaders to step into that spotlight.

Join our upcoming resident leadership events and help carry this momentum forward. Contact us today! Call (757) 390-4625. 💼💙
