Last month, several former Tidewater Gardens residents participated in the Senior Agricultural Program by planting a peach tree and herbs in celebration of Earth Day! 🌱🌳🌎

Many of the participating seniors have never gardened before. Now, they’re growing vegetables like tomatoes, lettuce and squash and, just as importantly, building friendships and rediscovering a sense of purpose.

Former Tidewater Gardens seniors interested in participating should contact People First at (757) 390-4625.
