Join us as we celebrate Lay Witness Sunday!

We are honored to welcome Brenda H. Andrews, Editor of The New Journal and Guide, one of the nation’s oldest and most widely circulated Black newspapers, as our guest speaker.

Under the theme “The God of More Than Enough” (John 3:16–21), we look forward to a meaningful celebration of faith, service, and the witness of the laity in the life of the church.

We celebrate the groundbreaking of the new William A. Hunton YMCA—a historic milestone and an exciting investment in the future of our community!

Pastor Christian J. Savage was honored to offer the invocation at this special occasion.

St. John’s and the Hunton YMCA have shared a longstanding partnership dating back to the Y’s founding. We are proud of this shared history and excited for all that lies ahead!

Special thanks to the members of St. John’s who joined Pastor Savage for this wonderful celebration.
